School starts August 21. All returning and prospective students can register between 9 a.m. – noon from next Monday to Aug. 14.

Good News

New in Dora Area
Terry and Amanda Ervin and four children have bought the Kevin Massey home just west of Rogers and are all moved in. Their kids will attend school in Dora.
There are other new families, I just haven’t been able to catch them home to get acquainted.

Wall Reunion
Early one Friday morning last month, Ivy Hays, Rick and Belinda Wall, Houston and Emilie Wall and family all left to join relatives for a two day family reunion at the Country Club park in Goldsmith, Texas. They were joined by her daughter, Juanita Wollom and son David of Lubbock. Jim Wall’s daughter LaDene Rowe of Lubbock, Ivy’s daughter, Elizabeth Oglesby’s family of Odessa and Goldsmith were there. Rick Wall’s sister Connie Roberts and a son, as well as David’s family of came to eat homemade brisket and banana pudding with all the trimmings. They also embraced the swimming pool, horse shoe games and baseball while there. The families said they had a wonderful time and are planning to go again in 2004.

Prayer Concerns
These names were given by relatives for prayer this week: Rosemary Kelley: surgery and doing fine; Jim Wall: radiation for cancer; Walk to Emmaus this week for Rick Wilcher and John Mohon; and Mike Chaves working on team for the walk.
Charlie Sez: This was “friendship day” weekend so I visited a very special friend on Saturday afternoon, Opal Terry and her son Arthur. Please remember Opal and all our elderly shut-in people in your prayers.
