DORA — Kassandra Clark scored nine of her 17 in the fourth quarter, and the Dora Lady Coyotes continued a statistical oddity with a 44-26 victory Tuesday over Eunice.
Dora improved to 4-7 with the win, and has two of its victories over the Lady Cardinals. Eunice lost to Dora in the season opener, but had run off 10-straight wins before losing again to the Lady Coyotes.
The Lady Coyotes used a 13-4 fourth to put away what had been a relatively close game throughout.
“We built a little cushion on (the lead),” Dora coach Bill Stockton said, “and we finished the game and they faltered.”
Jaci Sant added nine for Dora, while Erin Widdell led the Lady Cardinals with seven.
Dora is idle until next Tuesday, when they go on the road to face Fort Sumner.
