ENMA finishes fifth season of competition

Eastern New Mexico Aquatics has completed its fifth year of competing in New Mexico USA Swimming competitions.
The team prepared for the state meet by competing in several meets throughout the state and teams members woke up at 5:30 a.m. most mornings so they could be at practice on time.
Eastern New Mexico Aquatics will be holding a special tryout for the upcoming year on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Play Inc. in Clovis.
This year ENMA will be conditioning at Play Inc. and the Eastern New Mexico University swimming facilities. For information contact Dr. Cheryl Holloway at 749-2918 or Ruth Carling at 749-6616.
The group had several swimmers qualify for the long course state championship this year including; Thomas Davey, 7; Bryan Tay, 7; Leslie Tay, 9; Ellen Berg, 8, Becky Berg, 6; Enoch Holloway, 11; Annamoriah Holloway, 15 and Joel Holloway, 17.
Ellen Berg placed fourth in the 50-meter freestyle, third in the 50-meter backstroke and 2nd in the 100-meter freestyle. Becky Berg placed first in the 25-meter butterfly, second in the 25-meter freestyle, and fourth in the 25-meter backstroke.
Joel Holloway placed ninth in the Backstroke and 12th in the Butterfly. Enoch Holloway Placed fifth in the 100-meter butterfly, sixth in the 50-meter butterfly, sixth in the 500-meter freestyle, seventh in the 100-meter backstroke and eighth in the 50-meter backstroke.
