This week has been a lot of fun at school since it was spirit week in preparation for Homecoming on Friday with games, ceremonies and the school dance following at 9 until midnight.
Tuesday was red/white and crazy hat day; Wednesday was pajama and crazy hair day; Thursday was hillbilly or redneck day; and then Friday was dress-up day. Next week’s report will say who our homecoming king and queen are, as well as the class attendants.
The wall structure on the north side of the high school building is taking shape this week. Most are anxious to see it shape up to where we can see how it is going to look.
District basketball tournament begins on Monday, when the girls go to Elida. The Dora boys play at Floyd on Tuesday. Game times for both are 6 p.m.
• There will be a National Honor Society meeting on Wednesday.
• The student council meeting will be on Thursday.
There will be no school on Feb. 28.
