4/3 Dora School News

Future Farmers of America
Our FFA teams left Dora at 9 a.m. on Tuesday for the State Judging in Las Cruces. They returned Saturday about 6 p.m. We are anxious to hear their results. They have been doing really well so far. I will give a report on each team next week.

School will be in session on this Monday to make up for the snow day we missed on March 15. Our detention day was moved to April 11.

Board meeting
The Dora School Board meeting has been changed from April 11 to April 19 at 8 p.m.

On Monday at 6 p.m. the choir will present a concert in the auditorium.

The UTI will give a presentation second hour in the Ag Shop for Juniors and Seniors. This is on Tuesday.

• April 7, baseball, doubleheader here against Elida at 3 p.m.
• April 11, baseball, doubleheader here against Santa Rosa at 4 p.m.

Schedule of events
• Wednesday, Juniors Testing ASVAB test from 8:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
• Thursday, representative from NMSU will be here at 10:30 a.m.
• Saturday, the junior/senior prom will be in the Rogers Gym at 7 p.m.
• April 18, no school, but there will be a drama dress rehearsal from 9 a.m. to noon.
