McMillan
John and Winona McMillan of Fort Sumner will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 4, 2005, at 2-4 p.m at Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church in Fort Sumner.
The celebration will be hosted by their children.
The couple was married Sept. 3, 1955 in Lubbock. They have two children and five grandchildren.
He is a retired school teacher, coach and administrator.
She is a retired cosmetologist.
The celebration is open to friends and relatives. No gifts please.

Baca
Casey Baca and Heidi Wright of Clovis are the parents of a six pound 9 ounce boy born on July 31, 2005 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
Thomas Michael Baca has one brother, Chance age 7, and a sister Lucy age 2.
Grandparents are Charlie and the late Lucy Baca, and Stacy Keener all of Clovis.
Great-Grandparents are Irene and the late Leo Baco of Clovis; Faye and the late Wilbur Keener of Portales.

David and Becky Collins of Friona, Texas, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sara Katherine Collins, of Amarillo, to Jonathan Rollins, of Amarillo, son of Dale and Carolyn Rollins of Amarillo.

The reception will be at the church.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of West Texas A& M University School of Nursing.
She is employed at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of West Texas A&M University.
He is employed at American Quarter Horse Association in Amarillo.

Jamie and Tina New of Clovis announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Shannon New of Rociada, to Will Atencio, of Rociada, son of James and Barbara Atencio of Rociada.

Organizations
East Valley View Club
The East Valley View Club met at El Rancho for lunch Wednesday.
Janie Bartel led in prayer for the lunch. There were 13 members and one visitor present for the food and fellowship.
Ladies present were Bartel, Margaret Forest, helen Jones, Lou Wayne Rogers, Lorene McAlister, Judy Barge, Lois sparks, Letha Clark, Marie Cates, Fern Clark, Rose Johns, Joy Ruth Bradley, Edna Morrison and Dora Skinner (visitor).
The next meeting is set for Sept. 14.
