A 29-year-old Clovis man wanted on a bench warrant was arrested Thursday after he fled Plains Regional Medical Center wearing a hospital gown and boxer shorts, according to police.

Alfred Sena was located by police about 20 minutes later pedaling a small, light blue girl’s bicycle on Dartmouth Street.

A bench warrant was issued for Sena Wednesday when he failed to appear at a hearing in District Court on charges of receiving or transferring a stolen motor vehicle.

He was charged Thursday with petty larceny for the theft of the little girl’s bike, according to the report.

Officers were unable to locate the owner of the bike to return it.
