Greyhound soccer falls by 1 at WT

CANYON, Texas — Itamar Keinan scored with 12 seconds left in the second half and the game-winner early in overtime to lead West Texas A&M to a 3-2 win over Eastern New Mexico University in a Southwest Soccer Conference men’s match Wednesday at Kimbrough Stadium.

Freshmen Keith Vargas and Dustin Flores scored for Eastern (2-5-1, 1-2 SSC).
Leif Craddock made seven saves for ENMU while his brother J.J. Craddock was credited with two saves in goal for West Texas A&M (4-1-3 2-1-1).
WT held a 26-6 edge in shots on goal.

Vargas’ goal midway through the second half put the Greyhounds up 2-0.
Daniel Bulley scored 15 seconds later for WT, setting up Keinan’s late-game heroics.
Flores gave Eastern a 1-0 lead midway through the first half. Cesaro Contreras was credited with the assist.
