ENMU students asked to help

The Eastern New Mexico University student government is asking students, faculty and staff not taking assessment tests Wednesday to assist the city of Clovis or the American Red Cross with continued tornado cleanup.

“The city’s residents and businesses have greatly supported our university throughout the years, and it is time for Eastern to give back to the people who support the Greyhounds,” ENMU student body vice president Kristelle Siarza said.

Students, faculty and staff are asked to provide the Associated Student Activities Board with the number of people expected and to meet at the Campus Union Building.

The first shuttle leaves from the Campus Union Building at 9 a.m and returns from Clovis at noon. There will be a second shuttle leaving the CUB at 1 p.m. and returning at 5 p.m.

Helpers are also asked to wear an ENMU shirt for identification purposes.

Face masks will also be provided for those helping with the cleanup efforts.
