Officials were urging caution on eastern New Mexico roads this morning due to overnight snowfall.
A winter weather advisory ended at 6 a.m, but weather forecasters warned blowing snow and fog would continue late into the morning. Winds were expected in the 15-to-25 mph range, with gusts to 35 mph. Wind-chill factors will be in the teens and lower 20s until about noon.
No snow was forecast for today and temperatures were expected to reach the lower 40s this afternoon.
Sunday’s high was forecast for the 50s.
