2-3-08 Police Blotter

The following is a sampling of calls placed to Portales police dispatchers over the last week. According to the reports:

• At 2:47 a.m. a caller stated that he shot his neighbor’s dog.
• At 4:38 p.m. a caller reported a silver vehicle parked on the street by his garage for the past four or five days on West 17th Lane. Officer responded.

• At 4:56 a.m. a caller reported noises outside her home on North Kilgore.
• At 7:29 a caller reported boys on bikes shooting pellet guns on North Ave. I. Officer was unable to locate.

• At 7 p.m. a caller stated that her daughter’s friend beat her up and wanted to get her stuff.

• At 1:30 a.m. a caller requested to speak to an officer because he was hearing voices through his lightbulb on South Main.
• At 7:06 a.m. an officer reported that his unit had been egged on South Ave. C.
• At 10:39 a.m. a caller reported a subject was possibly attempting to break into his barn on Roosevelt Road 2/B. When the suspect saw the barn owner, he left in an older gray car.

• At. 7:26 a.m. a caller reported that her car was broken into during the night on Libra Drive and her purse was stolen.
• At 2:42 p.m. a caller said she paid her tuition with her credit card and someone obtained the number and has been using it.

• At 12:39 a caller reported a loud party on South Ave. D.
