DHS Drama Club on stage
The Dora High School Drama Club will present a mystery thriller, “The Beating Heart,” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Dora School Auditorium.
The play’s plot revolves around a photograph of a young woman who lived during the Civil War. A modern-day college history major travels to the woman’s last home to unravel the secrets of her life.
The play is free and open to the public.

Blood drive scheduled
United Blood Services will hold a blood drive hosted by First United Methodist Church of Portales from 4:30-7:45 p.m. Wednesday in the donor bus at the church parking lot at Second Street and Avenue C.
Donors should be at least 17 and weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health and bring photo ID and list of medications and travel.

Wall of Honor reception planned
The Eastern New Mexico University Nontraditional Student Educational Services office will hold a viewing of the Wall of Honor at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday on the bottom floor of the Campus Union Building.
Names of men and women who have served or are serving in the armed forces have been added to the wall since its dedication last semester.
Refreshments will be served in the Zuni Room.
