CSC holding barbecue

The Community Services Center will hold its annual barbecue benefit dinner from 4-7 p.m. today at the senior meal site, 1100 Community Way. Proceeds benefit the senior meal site.

The meal features barbecue brisket and sausage, potato salad, coleslaw, beans, roll and cobbler with ice cream. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children. Dine-in or take-out is available with delivery for parties of eight if requested in advance.

Raffle winners announced

The Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico announced winners of three $50 gas cards raffled during the Smokin’ 4th of July Bash, according to a press release.

Winners are Mary Pawlyshyn and Linda Martin of Portales and Carol Sandoval of Albuquerque.

Proceeds from the raffle benefit Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico’s program to fight hunger in Rooosevelt and Curry counties.
