Students watch play

Last week the eighth-graders walked to the high school to see the first performance of the high school drama class. The seventh-graders will view the play on Wednesday. Three junior high students will be performing with the high school in its presentation of “Peter Pan and Wendy.”

Tutoring offered

Tutoring is available before and after school Monday through Thursday. Glenda Meeks has completed grade advisory meetings with every student who may be encountering academic problems. The tutoring sessions are offered to enable all students to succeed in their junior high education.

Thanksgiving break

Students will be dismissed at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday. School will resume at 8 a.m. Dec. 1.


Progress reports to be issued Tuesday

Parents can come to school from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to pick up their children’s progress reports. This document shows parents and students what grades they have earned halfway through the second quarter.
