No. 16 West Texas A&M blanks Hounds

CANYON, Texas — Freshman goal keeper Alistair Caldwell made three saves for the Eastern New Mexico University men’s soccer team Wednesday but the Greyhounds fell, 3-0, to West Texas A&M on Wednesday in a Lone Star Conference match.

The No. 16 ranked Buffaloes (8-1-1, 1-0-1 LSC) took an early lead 50 seconds into the game on Ben Everson’s 12th goal of the season.

West Texas added second half goals by Manuel Garcia and Jacob Fynboe Jensen to put the game out of reach.

WTAM held a 10-6 shots on goal edge over ENMU (7-3-1, 0-2).
