District Attorney Matt Chandler is still reviewing information turned over by the Portales Police in the case of a 71-year-old Portales woman who died after being struck by a vehicle on Oct. 30.
Chandler said Monday his staff is still reading through a huge file submitted by Portales police concernign the death of Gloria Ann Inge.
“It is 700 pages of information including medical records,” Chandler said. “We are reviewing that and hope to have it back to the police by the end of the week.”
Chandler said he is also reviewing case law established by the New Mexico Supreme Court on careless driving versus reckless driving.
Trevor Nuckols, 16, of Portales was identified as the driver who struck Inge as she was crossing Second and Abilene streets.
