Judy Novella is with Fairfield Processing Corp., and she will show how to make a pillow headboard and easy throw pillows using patterns you can download on the Internet. She’s from Danbury, Conn.
Paul Zuch is a professional remodeler, and he’ll talk about stretching a remodeling budget and incorporating products that are better for the environment and for people, too. Zuch represents the National Association of Remodeling Industry and lives in Allen, Texas.
Mary Lee Chin is a registered dietitian and spokeswoman for the California Raisin Marketing Board, and she will talk about nutrition recession: what to do with the food budget as the economy flags, sags and drags. Chin is from Denver, Colo.
Information on working with beads and embellishing ready-to-wear clothes will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” at noon Tuesday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
Jane Davis, author, will show how bead fringes can add sparkle and elegance to many types of projects, from purses and necklaces to boxes and gourds. She’s from Ventura, Calif.
Sue Hausmann of Viking Sewing Machine Co. in Westlake, Ohio, will show how to embellish ready-to-wear clothes, which is a great way to achieve instant gratification in our busy lives.
