Fat Boys says 10 percent of sales get donated to the American red Cross.

The Department of Game and Fish is starting a review of its threatened and endangered species.

The department is accepting public comments starting today through June 21.

The current list includes 119 threatened and endangered wildlife species.

Who says kids don’t read anymore…students at Highland Elementary School in Clovis read 2,377 books in February.

Boxing in town

The 62nd New Mexico State Golden Gloves Tournament comes to Clovis Friday through Sunday.

The tournament is at the Roy Walker Community Center.

The fighting starts at 7 p.m.

Today — Spring in the Panhandle…snow accumulation 1 or 2 inches. Highs in the mid to upper 40s. North winds 10 to 20 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Gusts up to 35 mph.

Tonight — Still yuk…windy and a chance of snow showers in the evening…then slight chance of snow showers after midnight. Total snow accumulation 1 or 2 inches. Colder. Lows in the mid 20s to lower 30s.
