My turn: Wallet essential fishing tool

Fishing can be done 100 different ways, but only a few can actually lead to fishing success.

Then there are those days when nothing goes right.

Here is a quick list of a few survival tips when it comes to fishing:

It doesn’t matter how long you have been fishing, it still stinks having to get up early after staying up late to watch the “Late Show” with David Letterman. Be sure to bring plenty of coffee or ask a family member to drive while you snooze.

Always remember to bring bug spray, a tackle box and fishing pole, and extra dry clothes — the bug spray for the bugs, tackle box and fishing pole (that is why we got up early in the first place), extra dry clothes for when you fall out of the boat trying to haul that fish. Oh, and don’t forget your wallet. That’s in case you have to stop off at McDonald’s when you don’t catch anything.

No matter how many times you wash your hands they are still going to smell like fish.
