Clovis housing agency receives grant

Clovis Housing and Redevelopment Agency, Inc. has been awarded $41,632 through a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, according to a release from Sen. Jeff Bingaman, D-N.M.

The agency is one of seven state agencies that received a total of $524,949 in grant monies.

Funding was awarded under HUD’s Family Self Sufficiency Program, which helps community housing agencies develop local strategies to help individuals and families receiving public housing assistance achieve economic independence, according to the release.
