Make your life easier with slow cooker

Collen Jaskot

Harried schedule or not, you gotta eat. Oh, and probably feed the family, too. The solution to make your life easier? A slow cooker, like the Waring Pro Professional 6.5-quart Slow Cooker. It can be set to cook from two to 12 hours in two-hour increments, and it comes complete with cooking instructions for things from casseroles to roasts to puddings.

When the cooking time is complete, the unit will automatically switch to a warming mode to keep food at an optimal serving temperature, and blue light comes on to tell you it is finished cooking.

The oval ceramic pot can be lifted right out of the pot, transferred to the table, and then go directly into the dishwasher.

It sells for $50, and you can go to for more information.
