Associated professor serves as program director

Eastern New Mexico University Associate Professor of Physics Bill Andersen served as director of the Summer Science Program at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology campus June 18 through July 24.

Out of around 670 applicants, 72 students from around the globe were chosen to attend.

The Summer Science Program summer school session gives the opportunity to receive college-level instruction and hands-on participation in real life projects to high school students who are gifted in math and science but may not have much upward mobility.
