Floyd school news — Aug. 30

Watermelon welcome successful The annual watermelon welcome last Thursday evening saw the largest turnout in recent memory. Participants enjoyed free burgers and hot dogs provided by the Floyd Fire Department, Floyd School and Floyd Booster Club. The Village of Floyd hosted a fireworks display and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes hosted a dance.
