The Roosevelt General Hospital Auxiliary recently purchased several pieces of physical therapy equipment for RGH Rehab Services. This equipment will enhance patient care by allowing the therapists to expand treatment exercises, according to a hospital press release.
An overhead pulley system will be used to address upper extremity, trunk and lower extremity instability factors related to S/P surgery, accident or age changes.
The Rebounder will be used to address weak core stability factors secondary to a shoulder injury or a back injury.
"We have supported Roosevelt General Hospital consistently over the past 10 years," said Sidney Phillips, of the RGH Auxiliary. "The auxiliary spent approximately $3,500 to purchase this equipment for the physical therapy department at RGH and we are proud to support this great hospital."
