The Yam Music Series concert is 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Yam Theatre, Portales.

It features Andy Mason and Don Thomas performing.

Ag Expo coming

The 2012 New Mexico Ag Expo kicks off 9 a.m. Wednesday in the new Roosevelt County Events Center at the fairgrounds in Portales.

The two-day event features informational booths, demonstrations, vendors and lots of tasty food.

To help preserve flavor, herbs and spices are best stored in airtight containers, out of sunlight and away from heat sources.
