ODESSA, Texas — Julian Roberts had a goal and an assist, and Eastern New Mexico University scored twice in 49 seconds en route to a 4-2 win over Texas-Permian Basin.

Kal Herbert scored his team-high sixth goal of the season to put the Greyhounds up for good 24:39 into the game, and goaltender Severin Niessen stopped seven of the nine shots he faced on the afternoon.

The Greyhounds (4-3-1) have now won two straight, with a 2-2 tie against Texas A&M International making it a three-game undefeated streak.

The host Falcons struck first, with Nathan Cotterell getting his eighth goal of the season on a shot just inside the right post, and added an assist five minutes later to break a 1-1 tie as Ciaran Connery chipped the ball in after Niessen went to the ground trying to stop the pass.

But UTPD (4-4) would not strike again, as Roberts and Herbert scored in the 24th and 25th minutes to wrestle the lead away.

Carlos Viveros capped the scoring on a give-and-go from Eishu Kanemitsu in the 66th minute.

Andy Wilkinson scored his third goal of the season on a header off of a free kick by Roberts.

The Greyhounds will stay on the road for the next two games, with contests Friday at Oklahoma Christian University and Monday at University of the Southwest.
