SPOKANE, Wash. — Eastern New Mexico University junior Mikey Davila finished in 54th place in a field of 248 runners on Saturday in the NCAA Division II national men’s cross country race at Plantes Ferry Complex.
Davila, ENMU’s lone representative in the event, posted a time of 31 minutes, 33.9 seconds. He was the second Lone Star Conference runner to cross the finish line behind West Texas A&M junior Dylan Doss, who was 43rd in 31:22.5.
Adams State easily claimed its fifth consecutive men’s team title with 54 points to 104 for runnerup Grand Valley State. The Grizzlies had three runners finish in the top 10, with junior Tabor Stevens winning it in 29:50.1.
