Nancy Siler represents Wilton Brands, and she’s going to show how to do a variety of techniques that make decorating cupcakes, cookies and other delicacies even easier. She’s from Woodridge, Ill.
Did you know that a house will sell 80 percent faster if it has been staged? Designer Diane Romick will share lots of ideas for expanded staging. She’ll also share her seven-step approach to helping home owners sell their home quicker and for more money. Her business is Castle Design Studio, LLC in Newport Coast, Calif.

Cookbook author, Sue Vaughn will demonstrate recipes from one of her cookbooks on “discovering dinnertime.” All of the recipes are quick and easy, all call for ingredients that are readily available, and they can be prepared in just a matter of minutes. She lives in Lamesa, Texas.
Sewing expert Kay Brooks will show where to use water soluble stabilizers, explain what they are and their benefits, and show some of the varieties of water solubles on the market. Her company is RNK Distributing and she’s from Knoxville, Tenn.
Slap together cake
1 can (20 oz.) Cherry Pie Filling
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, use juice
1 box Yellow cake mix, dry
1 can coconut
1 cup pecans, chopped
3/4 cup margarine, melted
Grease and flour a 13x9x2-inch pan. Make layers of pie filling, pineapple, cake mix, coconut and pecans. Then pour the melted margarine over the mixture. Bake in a preheated 350° F. oven for 35 to 40 minutes until light brown.
