It’s hard to believe Christmas week is arriving already. The holidays have really crept up on me this year and it would seem I’m not the only one.
And with the holidays being here, my wallet is worn thin, but it is taking every ounce of self-restraint I have to not buy the holiday cartoon classics that are on sale everywhere at the moment.
I’ve found “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “Frosty the Snowman,” an old Mickey Mouse Christmas cartoon and a collection of the Charlie Brown Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas specials on DVD in stores.
These are all Christmas animated movies that I grew up on and would love to see again, so I can only hope that they are still available after Christmas and hopefully marked down too.
In the mean time, I am going to track down other delightful Christmas classics to watch, such as “White Christmas” or “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
Don’t forget that’s one of the best parts of Christmas is sitting down with your stocking goodies and watching a Christmas flick, whether it be a cartoon you grew up on, a silly modern-day film, or a classic black and white that’s a family tradition.
