County inmate flees during court appearance

PNT staff A Roosevelt County inmate briefly escaped Wednesday morning during a hearing at Magistrate Court, according to the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office offial. The inmate made it about 30 yards before being captured, according to Chief Deputy Malin Parker. His charges will now include an escape attempt, according to Parker.
