Religion column: My tears are tears of love

Butler Charles and Verna Butler of Clovis will celebrate their 56th wedding anniversary with family and friends. The couple was married on March 2, 1956, in Phoenix. They have two children, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is a retired air force airman and printer at Hollands. She is retired from school food service.

Lori Daniell’s childhood dream was simply to be a mom, but that didn’t turn out to be so simple for the Portales mother of three. Daniell, who has three adopted sons, works with her husband Rick at the Christian Children’s home in Portales.
