• Thursday: 4 p.m., football vs. New Mexico School for the Deaf at Vaughn. 4:30 p.m., volleyball vs. Floyd (juior high, junior varsity, varsity).

• Friday: 3 p.m., junior high volleyball (A, B) vs. Portales.

• Saturday: 1 p.m., volleyball at Valley Christian (junior high and varsity).

• The homecoming football game is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sept. 16 against Vaughn.

Elida Elementary is saving box tops. The students’ goal for the year is 2,400 box tops.
