The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the High Plains Junior Rodeo Finals, set for July 19th-24th at the Curry County Events Center.  The entire community is invited to the weeklong event, featuring fun activities, great food, and action-packed rodeo
competitions!

The High Plains Junior Rodeo Finals are the pinnacle of the High Plains Junior Rodeo Association’s 2010 season. Finalists come from all over the High Plains to compete in this event, which boasts great prizes for the winners.  The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled that for the 36th year running, Clovis has won the bid to host this exciting
event.  Thanks to our main sponsors- Allsups Convenience Stores/Jack Links, High Country Chevy Dealers and other generous local businesses we are able to once again provide an exciting event for the young rodeo finalists.

One of the highlights of the finals will be the activities scheduled for Friday, July 23rd. The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the annual rodeo dinner, followed by a talent show of HPJRA members and their families. In addition to the talent show there will also be a dance for all the rodeo contestants.

A wristband granting admission for the entire week’s activities can be purchased for only $15.00. Spectators may also purchase tickets to each event separately if so desired. The price of per-event admission is: $5.00 adults, $2.00 students (with valid ID), and FREE for children aged 6 and under.

ABOUT THE HIGH PLAINS JUNIOR RODEO: The High Plains Junior Rodeo began 36 years ago by the parents of Clovis’ young rodeo competitors.   Since the first High Plains Junior Rodeo in 1974, Clovis has worked hard to keep the rodeo coming back to our community year after year.
