Offense
Jennie Hutt, Abilene Christian, Fr. OH, Papillion, Neb. — Hutt collected 82 kills for the Wildcats, and also helped defensively with 18 digs and five blocks.
Laura Prinsen, West Texas A&M, Jr. OH, Spring, Texas — Prinson led the Lady Buffs with 52 kills as WT split four matches in the Colorado Primier Challenge. She also contributed three blocks and 39 digs en route to all-tournament honors.
ENMU nominee
Vanessa Wilcox, Sr. OH — Had a team-best 30 kills and tied for the team lead with six blocks as the Zias split four matches in the Cal State Monterey Bay Classic.
Defense
Shay Velasquez, Midwestern State, Sr. L, Amarillo — Velasquez earned all-tournament honors in the Missouri Southern Invitational, averaging just over five kills per game as the Mustangs posted a 4-0 mark. She had a season-high 21 digs in a 3-0 sweep of Druray.
Lauren Flynn, Texas A&M-Commerce, Jr. L, Deer Park, Texas — Flynn recorded 104 digs in the Southwest Baptis tournament, including 36 digs against undefeated Wayne State. She has 129 digs for the season and leads the LSC with an average of 5.38 per game.
ENMU nominee
Nicole Vanderploeg, Sr. OH — Tied for the team lead with 34 digs at Monterey Bay. She also committed just six reception errors in 52 chances, and had 27 kills along with two blocks.
Setter
Katie Rickwartz, West Texas A&M, Jr. S, Canyon — Rickwartz tallied 184 assists in four matches in the Colorado Premier Challenge,including a season high with 59 against No. 19 Augustana College. She also had one ace, 46 digs and 11 block assists.
Allison Schreiber, Midwestern State, Sr. S, Windthorst, Texas — Schreiber was also named to the all-tournament team at Missouri Southern, posting two 50-plus assist outings in the Mustangs’ 4-0 weekend. She had her first double-double of the season (54 assists, 13 digs) against Drury.
ENMU nominee
Karen McIntyre, So. S — McIntyre had 88 assists at Monterey Bay, including 26 each in matches against CSU Monterey Bay and Cal State-Stanislaus.
