Pep to hold Thanksgiving fest The Pep, Texas, community will hold its 62nd annual Thanksgiving festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (CST) Thursday in the St. Philip Neri Parish Hall. The event features a meal of German sausage and turkey with all the trimmings, as well as a country store filled with handmade crafts, homemade baked goods and a fishpond and grab bags for children. A raffle for a queen-size hand-stitched quilt and five $100 gift cards will take place. Tickets are $1 apiece or six for $5.
