CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. - The Cannon Air Force Base lieutenant missing
since March 12 has been found safe in California.
1st Lt. Scott Lee reported to Travis Air Force Base, Calif., April 2, and is
now en route back to Cannon, AFB. Until yesterday, Lee was last seen leaving
his apartment in Clovis, N.M., March 12, at approximately 11 a.m.
"We are very relieved that Lieutenant Lee has been found safe and healthy,"
said Col. Buck Elton, 27th Special Operations Wing commander. "However, due
to the ongoing nature of the investigation, we unable to share any further
details on the topic at this time."
Cannon Air Force base's Office of Special Investigations (OSI) continues to
actively investigate the situation. More information will be released and
posted to www.cannon.af.mil as soon as it becomes available
