Chad Rupe of Clovis, a motorcycle rider injured in a crash at Second Street and Chicago Avenue on Feb. 26 has been taken to Dallas for further medical treatment, Portales Police Deputy Chief Lonnie Berry said. He said police expect to give Rupe “some sort of citation” after his physical condition improves.
