Councilor withdraws from election

Freedom New Mexico Citing business and personal reasons, City Councilor Shawn Watson confirmed Thursday that he has withdrawn from the March 2 municipal election. Leo Lovett is now the only declared candidate running for Ward C. Watson said Lovett is qualified for the position and feels he will do a good job.
