NMSBA testsTuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will find students taking the mandated state tests. When school resumes April 6 after spring break, students will finish the second part of the test. Principal Steve Harris reminds students and parents that it is just as helpful to prepare physically for these tests as students have been preparing mentally.

A mobile X-ray unit was finishing up its rounds in Portales. At the time, 3,126 chest X-ray tests and 2,412 blood tests were taken. Those who needed new checkups were to be called in again.
