Two arrested for copper wire theft

Freedom New Mexico Roosevelt County deputies have arrested two people on charges of stealing copper wire from Yucca Telecom, according to a news release from the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office. Jade Blossom, 30, and Tara Loveall, 24, both of Portales, are charged with burglary and conspiracy, both fourth-degree felonies. The last arrest was made Wednesday. […]

Cut fiber in Lubbock halts Yucca Internet

Sports schedule Ram football has two games this week. The seventh-grade team hosts Texico Tuesday afternoon. Thursday, the eighth-grade team heads to Clovis to play Yucca. Both the seventh- and eighth-grade “A” volleyball teams head to Santa Rosa Tuesday. The following week, they wrap up their season with tournaments in Clovis.
